The Registrar’s Office supports students with registration, academic records, transcripts, enrollment verification, transfer credit processing, graduation petitions, and academic policy guidance.

The Registrar’s Office helps students complete important academic procedures and maintain accurate records throughout their time at Rochester University. Students are encouraged to contact the Registrar’s Office when they need help with registration, transcripts, enrollment verification, academic records, or graduation-related procedures.
Registration
Registration is processed through the Registrar’s Office. Students should complete required forms and register during the scheduled registration period.
Transcripts
Rochester University maintains student academic transcripts. Students may request official or unofficial transcripts in writing through the appropriate office.
Enrollment Verification
Students may request enrollment verification when documentation of current or past enrollment is needed for personal, academic, or official purposes.
Transfer Credit
Transfer credit is evaluated based on official transcripts, course comparability, grades earned, and applicable program requirements.
Graduation Petition
Students preparing to graduate should file a graduation petition with the Registrar’s Office according to the university’s academic procedures.
Student Records & FERPA
Student educational records are maintained in accordance with FERPA. Students may review records and request corrections through proper procedures.

Students are responsible for completing registration, maintaining current contact information, following add/drop deadlines, and communicating with the Registrar’s Office when academic record or enrollment questions arise.
Add / Drop Support
Students should follow published deadlines and submit required forms when adding or dropping courses.
Course Scheduling
Class schedules include course name, number, days, time, instructor, meeting dates, and units.
Withdrawal Procedures
Students who need to withdraw should speak with the appropriate office and complete the formal withdrawal process.
Current Student Information
Students should notify the school of changes to mailing address, phone number, or other important contact information.
Transcript and record requests
Transcript, enrollment verification, name change, and student record requests may require written authorization, processing time, and applicable fees. Students with outstanding financial or record holds may experience delays until requirements are resolved.
